UrgentSalesNG is a curated marketplace for distress and urgent sale listings across Nigeria — homes, vehicles, electronics, and gadgets being sold below market value because the seller needs to move quickly.

Every listing is submitted directly to UrgentSalesNG and reviewed before going live. We don't aggregate, scrape, or copy listings from other platforms. What you see here, you see only here.

What makes us different

  • Independent inspection. Buyers can request a professional inspection before committing — physical for vehicles and property, video for electronics. Inspectors are independent of the seller.
  • Direct from sellers. Listings are posted by the sellers themselves or their agents — not scraped from other sites. Sellers are accountable for what they post.
  • Curated, not flooded. Every listing is reviewed before going live. No duplicates, no scams, no time-wasters.
  • Direct buyer-seller contact. Once an offer is accepted, the buyer talks directly with the seller. We facilitate; we don't middleman.

What we don't do

  • We do not own, sell, or hold inventory
  • We do not handle payment for items between buyer and seller
  • We do not guarantee an item's condition (that's why inspection exists)
  • We do not store payment card information

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how UrgentSalesNG collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website at urgentsalesng.com.

Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to run the service:

  • Account information. If you sign up, we collect your email, display name, and (optionally) WhatsApp number for buyer-seller contact after an offer is accepted.
  • Listing information. If you submit a listing, we collect what you tell us about the item: title, price, photos, location, and your contact details.
  • Inspection requests. If you request an inspection, we record the listing, your phone number for our inspector to reach you, and the payment status. We do not see or store your card or bank details — Paystack handles that directly.
  • Usage data. Anonymous page-view counts per listing, to show popularity. No personal data is attached to these views.
  • Cookies. Used for basic site functionality (e.g. keeping you signed in). We do not use cross-site tracking cookies for advertising.

How we use your information

  • To run your account and let you place offers, save listings, and request inspections
  • To connect buyers and sellers after an offer is accepted
  • To send price alert emails if you have subscribed
  • To improve the site and understand which listings are popular
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing

Third-party services we use

To operate the site, we rely on the following third-party services:

  • Supabase for database and authentication
  • Cloudinary for hosting listing images
  • Paystack for processing inspection payments. Paystack handles all card and bank details — we do not see or store them.
  • Netlify for hosting the website
  • Google AdSense may be used to display advertisements. AdSense uses cookies to serve relevant ads.

Each of these providers has their own privacy practices. We share only what is necessary for them to provide the service (e.g. your email for sign-in, payment reference for inspection verification).

Google AdSense and advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on our site. Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.

Data retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep payment records for legal or tax reasons.

If you only subscribed to price alerts (no account), we retain your email until you unsubscribe via any alert email or by writing to us.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@urgentsalesng.com from the address on file.

Children's privacy

UrgentSalesNG is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of UrgentSalesNG (the "Platform"), accessible at urgentsalesng.com. By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. About UrgentSalesNG

UrgentSalesNG is a Nigerian online marketplace that connects buyers with sellers and agents offering items at urgent or distressed prices. We are not a party to any sale transaction between users. We do not own, store, or guarantee any item listed on the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under Nigerian law to use the Platform. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are using the Platform for legitimate buying or selling purposes only.

3. User accounts

  • You are responsible for keeping your password and account credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at hello@urgentsalesng.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
  • One person, one account. Multiple accounts may be suspended.

4. Listings

Sellers and agents who post listings on the Platform agree that:

  • The listing is accurate, lawful, and reflects an item the seller actually owns or is authorised to sell.
  • The price, description, photos, and condition disclosed are truthful.
  • The item is not stolen, counterfeit, restricted, or prohibited under Nigerian law.
  • The seller will respond to genuine offers and inspection requests in good faith.

UrgentSalesNG reviews listings before publication, but review is not a guarantee of accuracy. We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any listing at our sole discretion. Sellers who post fraudulent, misleading, or duplicate listings may have their accounts suspended without notice or refund of any fees paid.

5. Buyer responsibilities

  • You are responsible for verifying any item before paying for it. We strongly recommend requesting an independent inspection on high-value items.
  • You are responsible for any agreement you reach with a seller, including price, payment method, delivery, and refunds.
  • UrgentSalesNG is not a party to your transaction with a seller. We cannot mediate disputes that arise after payment is made directly to a seller.
  • Meet sellers in safe, public locations whenever possible. Do not share sensitive personal or financial information with sellers.

6. Inspection service

UrgentSalesNG offers an optional inspection service for buyers, fulfilled by independent inspectors:

  • Video inspection for electronics and gadgets — a video call between the buyer and an inspector who walks through the item.
  • On-site mechanic inspection for vehicles — a physical inspection at the seller's location.
  • On-site agent inspection for property — a walkthrough and document verification at the property.

Inspection fees are charged to the buyer, paid via Paystack, and disclosed before payment. Once a buyer pays an inspection fee, we will schedule and complete the inspection within the timeframe communicated. The inspection report is shared with the buyer only.

Inspection findings are the inspector's professional opinion at the time of inspection. They do not constitute a warranty of the item's future condition or a guarantee that the eventual sale will be successful. We are not liable for changes in the item's condition between inspection and purchase.

7. Inspection fee refund policy

The inspection fee pays for the work of conducting the inspection — not for the buyer's eventual decision to purchase. Refund eligibility depends on what happened to the inspection, not on the inspection's findings.

When the inspection IS completed

Once an inspection has been carried out and the report has been shared with the buyer, the fee is non-refundable. This applies regardless of the outcome — whether the item is exactly as listed, has minor issues, or turns out to be misrepresented or fraudulent. Identifying problems with a listing is part of the service we are paid to perform.

When the inspection is NOT completed

  • Our fault (e.g. no inspector available within the agreed turnaround, scheduling failure on our end, system error): 100% refund, processed within 7 working days.
  • Seller is unreachable, no-shows, or refuses access after we have made at least two reasonable scheduling attempts: 70% refund. The 30% retained covers the cost of inspector dispatch, transport, and administrative effort already incurred. We will also help you find an alternative listing if you would like.
  • Buyer cancels before the inspector is dispatched (typically within 2 hours of payment, before scheduling has been confirmed): 90% refund. The 10% retained covers payment processing fees and administrative cost.
  • Buyer cancels after the inspector is dispatched or en route: no refund — the inspector's time and transport cost cannot be recovered.

How to request a refund

Email hello@urgentsalesng.com with your inspection reference number and a brief explanation. We aim to respond within 3 working days. Approved refunds are processed via Paystack to the original payment method within 7 working days of approval.

Service-level commitment

We aim to schedule inspections within these timeframes:

  • Video inspections (electronics, gadgets): within 48 hours of payment
  • On-site inspections (vehicles, property): within 5 working days of payment

If we miss this turnaround without an agreed reason, you are entitled to a full refund.

8. Payments

All inspection payments are processed by Paystack. UrgentSalesNG does not see, store, or handle your card or bank details. By making a payment, you also agree to Paystack's Terms of Service.

Payments between buyers and sellers for the actual item are made directly between the parties and are NOT processed through UrgentSalesNG. We are not responsible for funds lost in such direct transactions.

9. Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

  • Post items that are stolen, counterfeit, illegal, or restricted under Nigerian law (including but not limited to firearms, controlled substances, and endangered wildlife)
  • Post fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading listings
  • Use the Platform to harass, threaten, defraud, or impersonate another person
  • Scrape, copy, or republish content from the Platform without written permission
  • Attempt to bypass platform fees, manipulate listings, or engage in fake offers
  • Use the Platform to advertise services unrelated to the items being sold

Violation of any of these may result in immediate account suspension or termination, removal of listings, and reporting to relevant Nigerian authorities where appropriate.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. UrgentSalesNG does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, nor do we warrant the accuracy, condition, legality, or quality of any item listed by a seller.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, UrgentSalesNG, its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for:

  • Any loss, damage, or injury resulting from a transaction between a buyer and seller
  • Items that turn out to be different from their listing description
  • Loss of funds paid directly to a seller
  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Platform is limited to the inspection fees you have paid us in the six (6) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold UrgentSalesNG harmless from any claims, losses, or damages, including legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms, your listings, or your transactions with other users.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. You may close your account at any time by emailing hello@urgentsalesng.com.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users by email or in-app notice.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from your use of the Platform shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, the dispute shall be referred to mediation or, where mediation fails, the competent courts in Lagos State, Nigeria.
