These terms govern your use of UrgentSalesNG, operated by Kovebridge Ltd (RC 9699056), Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria. By using the website or the app, you accept them.
What UrgentSalesNG is
UrgentSalesNG is a marketplace where people list items they need to sell quickly, and buyers find them. We are a listings platform, not a party to any sale. We do not own, inspect, store, deliver, or guarantee any item listed here. We do not hold money for buyers or sellers, and we do not offer escrow.
Every transaction is between the buyer and the seller directly.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older
- Give accurate details and keep them current
- You are responsible for what happens under your account
- One person, one account, unless we agree otherwise in writing
UrgentSalesNG is for adults. You confirm that you are 18 or older when you create an account, and we may close an account if we have reason to believe it belongs to someone under 18.
Sellers can choose to verify their identity through Didit, our verification partner. Didit checks a government ID, a live selfie and that you are 18 or older, and keeps the ID details and images under its own privacy policy. We receive only the result, which shows to buyers as a verified seal beside the seller's name. The seal means the seller's identity was checked when they verified. It is not a guarantee of any item, listing or sale.
Listing rules
When you post a listing you confirm that you own the item or are allowed to sell it, that your description and photos are honest, and that the price is real.
You may not list:
- Stolen goods, or anything you cannot prove you may sell
- Weapons, ammunition or explosives
- Drugs, prescription medicines, or controlled substances
- Counterfeit or replica goods sold as genuine
- Live animals, human remains, or body parts
- Adult or sexual services
- Government documents, identity documents, or licences
- Anything whose sale is illegal in Nigeria
Listings are reviewed before they go live. We may decline, edit, or remove any listing, and may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, without refund.
Buying and meeting safely
Because we are not part of the transaction, please take normal precautions. Meet in a busy public place in daylight. Inspect and test the item yourself before any money changes hands. Never send a deposit to hold something you have not seen.
We do not verify sellers, buyers, items, or prices, and we accept no liability for any loss arising from a transaction arranged through the platform.
Boosts and payments
A boost is a paid, optional promotion that raises a listing in the feed for a chosen number of days. Prices are shown before you pay.
- Payments are processed by Remmint. We do not see or store your card or bank details
- A boost gives your listing higher placement. It does not guarantee views, offers, or a sale
- Boosts are non-refundable once the promotion has started, except where the law requires otherwise, or where a technical fault on our side prevented it from running
- Buying another boost on a listing that is already promoted extends its duration
- If a listing is removed for breaking these terms, any running boost ends with it and is not refunded
Refer and earn
From time to time we run a referral campaign. While one is running, you get a personal link in your account, and you earn the reward shown there for each friend who joins through it.
- A referral counts when your friend installs the Android app through your link and creates a new account on a phone that has not been used with UrgentSalesNG before
- One reward per person and per phone. You cannot refer yourself, and an account that already exists cannot be referred
- Your friend must create their account within 7 days of installing the app for the referral to count
- A reward becomes payable once the referral counts. If a waiting period applies, it is shown in your account
- Payouts are made in naira to a Nigerian bank account you give us, once you reach the minimum shown in your account. You are responsible for the account details being correct. A payout sent to the details you gave cannot be recalled
- We may refuse or withhold rewards that come from fake, duplicate or automated accounts, or from any attempt to get around these rules, and we may close accounts used to do so
- A campaign has a fixed budget. We can change the reward, pause or end a campaign at any time. Rewards that had already become payable before then will still be paid
- You are responsible for any tax due on what you earn
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos and text you post. You give us a licence to display, resize and distribute that content so we can run and promote the marketplace, including in search results and on social media. This licence ends when you remove the content, except for copies already made in the ordinary course of backup.
Reports and moderation
You can report a listing that is unavailable or abusive. We review reports and may remove content or accounts. We do not promise a particular outcome or timeframe.
Availability
We work to keep UrgentSalesNG running, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change or withdraw features.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Kovebridge Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or lost data, or for any dispute, loss, injury or damage arising between a buyer and a seller. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction.
