Delete your account

You can delete your UrgentSalesNG account and the personal data attached to it at any time. This page explains how, and what happens.
In the app
- Open UrgentSalesNG and go to the Account tab
- Tap the settings icon at the top right of your profile card
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account permanently
- Confirm. The account is deleted straight away and you are signed out
By email
If you cannot reach the app, email hello@urgentsalesng.com from the address on the account, with the subject Delete my account. We will confirm it is you and complete the deletion within 30 days.
You do not need to give a reason.
What gets deleted
- Your profile: name, email, phone, WhatsApp number, city and photo
- Your listings and bundles, and their images
- Your offers, saved items, watchlist entries and follows
What we keep, and why
- Payment records for boosts. Kept as required for tax and accounting. These hold the amount, date and reference, not your card details
- Reports of abuse. Kept so repeated problems can be recognised
Anything retained is kept only as long as the law requires, and is not used to contact you or to build a profile of you.
Before you delete
Deletion cannot be undone. Live listings disappear, and buyers with an open offer will no longer be able to reach you. If you only want a break, you can remove your listings and keep the account.
Delete some of your data and keep your account
You do not have to close your account to remove part of your data.
In the app, yourself:
- A listing: open it from Account, My listings, tap Edit listing, then Mark as sold. It is taken off the marketplace straight away
- A bundle: open it, tap Edit, then Delete this bundle
- Saved items: open the item and tap the heart again to remove it
- Sellers you follow: open the seller and tap Following to unfollow
- Your profile photo: Account, Profile, then Remove under the photo
- Your name, phone or WhatsApp number, or city: Account, Profile, then edit or clear the field and save
By email, for anything else: email hello@urgentsalesng.com from the address on the account, with the subject Delete some of my data, and say what you want removed, for example a sold listing and its photos. We will confirm it is you and complete it within 30 days.
The same exceptions apply as above: payment records for boosts and reports of abuse are kept for as long as the law requires.
